* * Farmer Tuttle has many hens. He knows that 20 of them, housed in three coops, will hatch 30 eggs in 18 days. How long will it take for 30 hens, housed in four coops, to hatch the same number of eggs?

* * Rick Gooch and his friends decided to get together to celebrate his birthday. There were 11 people at the party. They clinked glasses with each other--every person with every other person - just once. How many times did the glasses clink?

Seven Times Three Equals 100

1. In what sequence must you write down the number 3 so that the end result will be 4?

2. Use the number 3 in three different combinations--seven, eight and nine times respectively - so that the result is 100 every time. You may group the numbers in any way you like.
